Get your API key

Open ElevenLabs
Sign in at elevenlabs.io and open Settings → API keys (your profile menu).

Create a key
Create a new key and copy it — it starts with sk_.

Connect in wish4
Open Connectors → ElevenLabs → Connect, name the connection, paste the key and save.

The builder uses a default voice unless you name one — ask for "a warm female voice" or give a voice ID from your ElevenLabs library. Audio plays right in the page.
Costs and limits
- ElevenLabs bills the characters you convert on your ElevenLabs plan. wish4 adds nothing.
- Turning speech into text (transcription) isn't supported yet — it needs an audio upload that projects can't send to ElevenLabs today.
Troubleshooting
- "Invalid API key" — the key was deleted or mistyped. Create a new one and use Replace key in the panel.
- "switched off for this workspace" — the connection is turned off; turn it on in the ElevenLabs panel.
- Quota errors — your ElevenLabs plan is out of characters for the month.
