Integration · Messaging · Free plan
Connect your own Discord bot once and every project in your workspace can use it. Ask the AI builder to post new orders to #sales, send form replies to your team channel, publish announcements from an admin page, or show your latest #updates on your site — it builds the Discord calls for you.
Your bot token is encrypted at rest on wish4's servers and only ever sent to Discord's API. It never appears in your pages or reaches the browser, and the AI never sees it. The bot only reaches the servers you invite it to, with the permissions you give it, and you can switch the connector off or remove it from your dashboard at any time.
Use cases
New sign-ups, orders, bookings and form replies posted to a channel as tidy embeds, the moment they happen.
An admin page that publishes updates to your announcement channel without opening Discord.
Your latest #updates or #changelog messages shown on your website.
An admin view of the servers and channels your bot can reach.
Setup
In the Discord Developer Portal, create an application (or open yours) and go to Bot.
Click Reset Token and copy the bot token — Discord shows it only once.
Invite the bot to your server: OAuth2 → URL Generator → scope "bot" with View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links and Read Message History, then open the link.
In wish4, open Connectors → Discord → Connect and paste the token, then ask the AI builder for what you need.
Need more detail? Read the Discord setup guide in the wish4 help center — where to find each value, ideas to ask the builder for, and fixes for common errors.
Security
Keys and tokens are encrypted at rest and stored on wish4's servers. They are never embedded in your published pages, never sent to the browser, and the AI never sees them — when it needs your Discord data, wish4's server makes the call and hands back only the results.
This connector uses a bot token, which can post to any channel the bot can see and read messages too. A channel webhook URL only posts to one channel.
Discord hides message text from bots unless you switch on the Message Content intent: Developer Portal → your app → Bot → Privileged Gateway Intents.
Not live — that needs a bot that's online all the time. Your app can post messages and read recent ones whenever a page loads or on a timer.
No. Bots and the API are free; Discord only limits how fast you can send.
